Frequently Asked Questions
Choosing the right support provider is an important decision. That's why we've answered the questions we hear most often from participants, families, and support networks.
Getting started is simple. You can contact our team by phone, email, or through our website. We will take the time to understand your needs and, from there, guide you through the next steps clearly.
Most of our services are delivered through the NDIS. If you already have an approved plan, we can help you get started right away. If you are new to the NDIS, however, our team can walk you through the process and explain each step clearly.
The NDIS funds a wide range of supports, all tailored to your individual plan and goals. These include assistance with daily living, community participation, transport, accommodation-related support, community nursing care, and employment-related support.
Supporting People with Complex Needs
In addition to these services, Heartfelt Personalised Support specialises in high complex care. Specifically, we deliver structured, consistent, and high-quality support for participants with complex, behavioural, and high-risk needs.
Yes, absolutely. The NDIS is designed to give you choice and control. As a result, you can select the provider that best suits your needs, preferences, and goals.
We take the time to understand your goals, preferences, and support needs. Our team works closely with you to ensure the services we provide are practical, appropriate, and aligned with your circumstances.
We provide services across Australia, including Melbourne and the ACT. However, availability may vary depending on your location and the type of support required. Therefore, we encourage you to contact our team to discuss your specific needs.
Timeframes vary depending on your circumstances, plan arrangements, and service requirements. Our team works hard to make the process as smooth as possible so that support can begin without unnecessary delays.
Once you reach out, we will discuss your needs and answer any initial questions. From there, we guide you through the next steps. This may include reviewing your plan and arranging the most suitable supports for you.
Yes, definitely. Our supports are personalised to reflect each participant's goals, preferences, and day-to-day needs. We focus on delivering services that feel relevant, practical, and meaningful to you.
There are three main funding types to understand:
- Self-managed — You control your budget and manage payments directly. This option gives you the most flexibility in choosing providers.
- Plan-managed — A plan manager handles payments and helps you manage your budget. You still have flexibility in choosing providers, but with less administrative responsibility.
- NDIS-managed — The NDIS pays registered providers directly on your behalf. As a result, you have less paperwork, but fewer choices when selecting providers.
We aim to provide consistency wherever possible. Continuity of support is important to us because it helps participants build trust, familiarity, and comfort with their support team.
As a Registered NDIS Provider, we follow established standards and professional practices. Our team is fully committed to quality care, participant wellbeing, and a person-centred approach at all times.
